HTML (CHM) - Search Function

I have created a project, done the indexing, enabled the search in the target and skin, however the outputs 'Search' function doesn't pull up any topics.

According to Madcap Flare v3.1 help file, the only two steps that are mandatory are 'Enable Search in Skin' and 'Associate Skin with Target', the opther options are listed as 'Optional'.

Even when doing this, the search doesn't generate anything at all.

Is this not to be generated automatically at runtime or is there something missing?

This happens when a DLL in HTML Workshop gets unregistered. There's a thread that describes the problem and how to fix it here:
