Auto-save and close topics?

Flare corrects one of RH's greatest weaknesses: the ability to edit multiple topics simultaneously. However there are times when the old RH behaviour is actually desirable. Is there any way to get Flare to automatically save and close (without prompting) the current topic when a new topic is opened? Sometimes I don't want a pile of topics cluttering up my tabbed list, and closing--and then dealing with the save confirmation--for each topic is very annoying and slows me down.

I checked around for an "save without prompt" option and could find none.

If you right-click a topic tab there's an option to close all other open topics, and you only have to confirm saving all of them.
It's a lot quicker than closing and confirming the save for each individual topic.

Yes, in the absence of an auto save feature (or "close and auto save"), this is the best workaround. It's good for people who don't mind letting the tabs pile up, but not so much for fastidious types like me who prefer to close each topic as it is finished. (Because this then brings me to another pet peeve rant--Flare tries to be "helpful" by displaying the entire topic title in the tab. But if you have lengthy titles, you sometimes only see one or two tabs visible, with the rest being hidden away in a drop-down list....grrrr.....)

That would also be an enhancement request. I never noticed that it spans the entire length of the topic title, but that may just be because the titles of the topics I create are short.
