Index Explorer Widow Unable to Open or Close

I opened the index explorer window and "pinned" it to the right side. Now Flare shows several Index window tabs all down the right side, and none of them exapand open and I also can't close them to make the tabs go away. I tried opening the index explorer from the menu again and it does not work. What can I do to get rid of these tabs?

I would reset your windows layout, this can be done by clicking on Windiows, Layout, and reset layout.
