This is an example of the error messages I'm getting. I'm getting more than one of these, too. I'm getting these for different topics.
%%%%%
Topic was included in the Flare TOC more than once. The content will still be exported to the output more than once.
MsWord Compiler C:\My Files\My Projects\Virtual Genesys User Guide RH\Content\Virtual_Genesys_User_Guide\Installing_and_Running_Virtual_Genesys\Installing_Virtual_Genesys.htm
%%%%%
As far as I can see, however, none of these topics are included in the Flare TOC more than once.
I don't know why Flare is giving me the stinkeye here.
Hints, tips, or suggestions would be appreciated.

Re: ERROR message: Topic included in Flare TOC more than once
That's because you're building print output and you have a book and topic icon linked to the same topic. For instance, in my projects, I link a book to TopicA so that the breadcrumb link to that book will work. I also insert TopicA as a topic icon inside that book so that as the user is navigating inside that book, they can get back to TopicA without having to click on the book again, because clicking on the book again would bring up the topic but close the book. So I give them TopicA as a separate TOC entry so they can get back to it. (Hopefully that makes sense.)
However, by using that same TOC for the print output, then that means TopicA is going to be printed twice, one right after the other. One copy to represent the book link to the topic, and the other copy to represent the topic link to the topic. To get around that, put an online-only condition tag on the topic icon (or create a second TOC for print output and don't include the second reference to TopicA). That way the print output only includes one copy of TopicA, but the online output still has the linked book and the topic link for TopicA.
BTW, technically that isn't an error message, because it doesn't stop the compile. It's a warning message. Flare will still build the output, but you may not like something about the output. In this case, the fact that the same topic is printed twice.

This actually makes some sense. Thanks for advice.
The Flare way is so different from how I did this in RH that having experience in RH is almost a handicap.
I'm off to try some of the things you suggested.

Your suggestions seemed to work. I got a more errors, but they're different now, so I hope I'm making progress. Will post about them separately.
