Hi there,

I need to hand skin design off to my creative team, who does not work in Flare. This is probably a really silly question but, how can they open up and work in the Flare skin file outside Flare?

Hi,

I do not think there is a way to modify the Skin outside of flare. What you can do is, have your designers download a 30 day trial of Flare. Send the Skin file to the designers and they will be able to edit the Skin using the trial version!!

Note that some elements in the skin can't be edited through the topic stylesheet or through the skin stylesheet. Some elements you can only modify by editing a Javascript file or overwriting a graphic element after the project is built (or modify the file in the Flare program folder to have that element used in all projects).

I have a question about editing the skin. How can I replace the madcap logo with my company logo in WebHelp output? The skin editor does not provide any option to replace/remove the madcap logo. Can someone help me?
