Hi there,
I'm trying to change the backround colour of the accordian items in a skin. In the Skin Editor, I don't have that optio when i click on the accordion items. Under "basic" I only have "Icon" and "Label".
Help!
Cheers,
Paula
Background colour of accordion items
Re: Background colour of accordion items
In the Skin Editor, under Styles, click on the AccordionItem group then expand the Font category. You'll see BackgroundGradient and BackgroundGradientHover. I believe there's a bug where the horizontal gradient effect doesn't work, but the vertical effect works. Unfortunately, you can't specify your own image for the accordion backgrounds -- you can only specify a color gradient effect.

Re: Background colour of accordion items
Thanks. I don't want to change the font colour though. I actually want to change the entire background colour of the accordion bar. Will this work?
I've played around with it a bit and it seeme to only change the font colour.

Ooh I was wrong! This does seem to work. Thank you!

Re: Background colour of accordion items
Regarding the Horizontal effect no working, I can confirm this in Flare v5 when webhelp output is viewed in IE or FF. Interestingly, I'm running into this as one of the toolbar properties, rather that the accordion item properties, so it seems like it might broken across Flare as a whole. Note that Forward/Backward Diagonal and Vertical all work as expected.
Anyone know of a work-around?
Thanks,
Kristen

Re: Background colour of accordion items
I think that problem with the gradient not working in one direction has been there since Flare v1. Make sure you submit a bug report for it at http://www.madcapsoftware.com/bugs/submit.aspx.
There is no workaround other than to create your own image with the gradient you want and load the image as the background for the toolbar.
