Frame templates

Post by smurray »

Can you create templates for frames in Mimic? I would like all my frames to have the same background image, and I know you can insert a background onto a frame, but I would really like a template that I could apply to frames that share the same background, shapes, text etc.
The Movie properties dialogue doesn't allow you to do this at that level either.
Once I insert my bitmap and create my shapes (which are the same on each frame), if I want to make any changes to these I will have to do this on every frame.
Is there a way of doing this?

Thanks

Mimic currently does not have Frame templates. We have movie templates, but not templates at the Frame level. That’s a great idea and I have submitted it to the developers. As a Workaround you would want to right click on the frame in the frame pane (!View | Frames) and hit copy. Then you can paste it as many times as you wish. It will copy all aspects of the Frame. (Objects, timing, sound, etc…)
