The full error message is:

MsWord Compiler: C:\My Files\My Projects\Virtual Genesys User Guide RH\Content\Virtual Genesys User Guide\Introduction\Title_Page.htm: Topic was included in the Flare TOC more than once. The content will still be exported to the output more than once.

I'm getting this error after having successfully built WebHelp for a project. I also need a Print version of this project.
This is what I got when I generated the Print version. I received this message for all topics, and all topics in the project are organized by book.
Suggestions?

Re: ERROR: Topic included in Flare TOC more than once
If you have a book that's linked to a topic and the same topic is a separate TOC entry beneath that book, then the topic will be included twice in the output. Once for the book reference and once for the normal topic reference. Apply a "screen only" conditional tag to the normal topic reference in the TOC Editor -- that'll include that topic in the online output but will exclude it from the print output so that only the book reference to the topic will be included in the print output.

Does this mean if I named the book slightly differently from the topic it contains, this problem would go away?LTinker68 wrote:If you have a book that's linked to a topic and the same topic is a separate TOC entry beneath that book, then the topic will be included twice in the output. For instance, if Topic A was called "A" and its book was called "Topic A," then the problem would not exist?

Re: ERROR: Topic included in Flare TOC more than once
No, sorry - it's the link from the book to the topic as well as the link as a separate TOC entry that is causing the duplication, not the label.Does this mean if I named the book slightly differently from the topic it contains, this problem would go away?
I get round this by having a different TOC for print and for webhelp, and have no book links on the print version, but putting the conditions on the TOC will also work. My print documents are usually quite different than my webhelp, so separate tocs make sense for me.

Re: ERROR: Topic included in Flare TOC more than once
So the TOC for the print version has no books, the WebHelp version does use books, and we use separate TOCs for print and WebHelp. OR, we use one TOC for both, and then impose conditions on the TOC. Does that sound about right?I get round this by having a different TOC for print and for webhelp, and have no book links on the print version, but putting the conditions on the TOC will also work. My print documents are usually quite different than my webhelp, so separate tocs make sense for me.
