From my understanding, the general MadCap NDA basically forbids you from acknowledging that the product exists, much less admitting what stage of beta said product might be at.

If that is true, then anybody who knows wouldn't be able to comment on it, so I suppose we'll have to wait for a MadCap staff member to answer this one.

Blaze is currently in an Open Beta, you can go to the following page and sign up for a Pre-release version to test with. https://www.madcapsoftware.com/products/blaze/ Most of the features of Blaze will be in the next version of Flare.
