Badly behaved Snippets

Good afternoon

I'm getting horribly confused. I want to be able to exclude mode than one snippet from a Target, however with each click of the Exclude (or Include) checkbox, Flare decides I want to exclude A or B rather than A and B.

I have 3 Conditional Text Groups
- Folders (this is just for my use to help me navigate through the Content Explorer but perhaps it's not helping matters)
- Images (Only has one condition that has been applied to all Images as I do not want them in the CHM Target)
- Version (This has three conditions so I can exclude stuff in the release that hasn't gone out yet, but equally document it so I know it's there)

What I would like in my CHM Target to Exclude the one condition in Images and exclude 2/3 of the conditions in Version. However clicking both Exclude checkboxes gives me

Images.PrintOnly or Version.4.0

Can anyone help me please?

Hmm okay, I've solved one problem (user error) - and it is does appear to be excluding both version 4.0 and the images so that's good. Although I still don't understand why it says or instead of and.

It's a boolean OR statement, meaning that any topic that contains either condition is excluded. If it were AND, then the topic would have to have both conditions in order to be excluded (i.e. "Exclude this topic if it has condition PrintOnly AND Version 4.0"). Topics that had one condition but not the other would still be included in that case.
