Table Sizing

Hi,

I'm a newbie at Flare (and HAT's) and really hungry to learn it.

First thing I tried was importing a word doc that contained tables. The tables themselves were simple - 2 columns, multiple rows, the columns on the left are blank and meant to be a checkbox for users. The right columns contain text of varying length.

I had a difficult time trying to adjust the tables so that they were the same size. Even creating new ones within Flare gives me issues.

When exporting to Word, the column on the left was collapsed.

I just want to be able to manually grab and size the tables...how do I do this? What table options do I need to set?

Well,

Had more of a chance to play today and I set my cell sized to 75 and 450 pixels, and then in table properties had 'Fit to Window' selected and set to Auto.

When I exported to Word, it looked as it should (in Word).

However, when I go back to Flare and table properties, 'Fit to Window' still has Auto, but "Fixed Column Width' is selected but set to 'Not Set'.

Can someone please explain the logic here.

Hi CanAussie, welcome to the forums.

I don't have Flare available to me at the moment, so I can't try this but I'd suggest if you have the table size set to window you can't specify all the column sizes - at least one has to be variable to accomodate the whole table resizing to fit the window.
