"Missing dropDownHead in dropdown effect" build error

Hey folks, I think I might have screwed something up with my stylesheet. I tried to add a new style so I could have some variety in my "Drop-Down text" links, but now when I try to publish, I get the error "Missing dropDownHead in dropdown effect" and it won't even let me view the output.

I deleted the style I created, but no luck. Any ideas? Thanks!

I don't think that teh reason was your style sheet, but one of your topics with a dropdown effect. There is sth wrong with at least one of the MadcCap tags that are inserted for the dropdown ... maybe you inserted sth and deleted it again?

If you know your way around HTML/XML a bit, I suggest you open the topics you modified since the last time it worked in the internal text editor (right click on the topic in the content explorer - open with - internal text editor).
If you think the text in that editor looks too confusing, you might want to copy the text into an external text editor like notepad, wordpad or textpad - there you can switch to showing line breaks.
You might even have to remove all drop downs and then go looking for those redundant tags that cause the error ...

I had that sort of problem too and I cannot think of any other way to fix it. Sorry for the bad news ...
