How do I get my <p> marks together?

Post by ccardimon »

In this my <p> marks are together:

In this my <p> marks are apart:

I'm trying to get them together. How do I do that? I can't replicate the "together" look.

On the face of it, it looks like you have some extra padding or margin in the second example.
Until next time....

I'm guessing you have a margin-top setting on your <p> tag because there's more of a gap between your <h1> tag and the first <p> tag but the distance between the remaining <p> tags is uniform, which suggests you also have a margin-bottom value set on the <h1> tag.

If you had padding values set and no margin values then I think the <p> tags would still be touching, although I'm not positive. I have a margin-bottom values on my <p> tags so I always see the gap.

I think that's just how I happened to take the screen grab.

So how do I get my hands on these margin value thingies?

Your stylesheet, in the p area, just like you would edit any other styles.

Thank you. You know, I can't say "p area" without giggling. I think it's almost Friday.

You could try "P style" instead - which makes it sound like a design movement or an Olympic event

Checking the Flare forums at 5am. You're either a dedicated MVP or just plain weird. Hmmm. Should post a poll on that.

I confess. I am plain weird. But I ain't checking the forums at 5 am. I might be awake at 4 am with a migraine, however.
