Re: Breadcrumbs
The links should be added automatically. However, they will only work if there are NO spaces anywhere in the path (file name or folder) for the source files. I think they also require that any books in the TOC be linked to actual topics rather than just picking up the first subordinate topic.
For the second question, I would use two master pages, one with a breadcrumbs proxy and one without. Assign the appropriate master page to the topics and you should be good.

Re: Breadcrumbs
G'day,
Sorry, don't know what you mean by "linking books to topics". How do I do this?
Not sure if it matters, but I am exporting to chm.
Also, where do I go to edit the breadcrumb proxy i.e. take out "You are here".
Thank you for your time.

Re: Breadcrumbs
In the TOC Editor, create a book and link that book to a topic. If you don't do this, then the first link item in the breadcrumb won't be hyperlinked.CanAussie wrote:Sorry, don't know what you mean by "linking books to topics". How do I do this?
Don't think it matters, although I don't build CHMs, so I'm not positive.CanAussie wrote:Not sure if it matters, but I am exporting to chm.
Double-click on the stylesheet file (generally in the Resources folder) to open the Stylesheet Editor. I don't have Flare running at the moment, so I don't remember which group the breadcrumbProxy style is in, but if you select the option to view all styles (while in Advanced view) then you'll see it listed alphabetically. When you click on that style, expand the Unclassified group at the right. The "You are here: " text, the breadcrumb separator, and the number of levels of breadcrumbs can be edited here.CanAussie wrote:Also, where do I go to edit the breadcrumb proxy i.e. take out "You are here".
