Does anyone know if it's possible to vertically align a small image within a line of text so that the bottom of the image hangs down below the line of text (as opposed to the bottom of the image aligning with the bottom of the text)? I'm trying to insert images of icons in my text wherever I refer to them.

Aligning images in a line of text
Re: Aligning images in a line of text
I do the same thing. Create a custom <img> tag, set its vertical-align property to middle, then apply the class to the image. I can't remember off the top of my head if the XML Editor will display the change correctly, but if you preview it you'll see it.
Note that if your icon is too tall then the text on the next line may be pushed down just a tad because the line of text containing the icon has to adjust its line height to compensate for the new position of the image.

Thanks, Lisa. That works for the online WebHelp.Create a custom <img> tag, set its vertical-align property to middle, then apply the class to the image. I can't remember off the top of my head if the XML Editor will display the change correctly, but if you preview it you'll see it.
It does not show up in the XML Editor, but it does show up in the previewer.
Unfortunately, the middle align does not translate over to the FrameMaker output. It would be nice if the graphic was output in an anchored frame that could be aligned vertically in the line of text.
