Index and Search do not work

Post by Alicia143 »

When I compile the webhelp, the index and search will not load! I click the Index tab once, and it appears to be loading. Then there is a yellow caution sign at the bottom of the web broswer. If I click the Index tab again, an index entry called "null" appears. But doesn't do anything when I click it.

The Search tab does nothing at all. It doesn't even act like its loading. Whats the deal?

I have other help systems that work fine. This is the first time that I have seen this issue.

Thanks,
Alicia

What browser are you using? There's a FF3 fix that might work.

Are you creating Webhelp or WebHelp plus? I would verify this on your Target

Does this happen locally? or only from the webserver? Have you tried clearing your browser cache?
