In the Project Organizer, double-click on your skin file to open the Skin Editor. Click on the Styles tab. Click on TocEntry. Make the modifications in the area to the right.

Hi Lisa,
Thanks for the reply, but i am afraid that it did not work out or rather as i intended it to be.
The requirement is when ever i click(OnClick(if there is a property as such)) an item/Link from the TOC(HTML Help) the color of the link clicked/visited should be changed greyed out.

Thanx!Chris

Not sure how to do that with CHM. I think that's controlled by the HTML Help viewer software, not by your content.
Until next time....

Sorry. I keep forgetting to look at what forum I'm in when I'm posting. I almost always build WebHelp and I kind of get stuck in that mentality.

Hi,

Sorry, it's not possible to do this in compiled HTML Help (.chm). Microsoft didn't anticipate this requirement in its design of HTML Help and so made no provision for customizing the TOC in the way that you want.

Pete is Correct, The CHM is not very customizable at all.

It's possible in WebHelp. Go to MadCap's knowledgebase (http://kb.madcapsoftware.com/) and you'll see the mouseover effect working.

Or are you asking if there's a way to have the "selected" TOC entry show another color or stay another color while that topic is visible?
