Toggler Class

Post by Adrian Durand »

Hi All,

Can anyone tell me the difference between a toggler and a MadCap: Toggler is in Flare V4?

I've just upgraded from V3.1, and when updating the project inserted an image and went to add the image to a toggler. This is when I found there is a new class.
This wasn't there in V3.1, and I cannot find anything in either the 'Whats New' or Help.

Many Thanks

Adrian

It's the same thing, it's just that they organized the MadCap-specific styles into one area by prefixing them all with MadCap and a pipe (|) character.

That's one of the reasons why in another post I said not to go back to v3.1 after opening a project in v4 -- the v3.1 Stylesheet Editor doesn't know what to do with that pipe character so it says there's a problem and blows it out.

Thanks Lisa, I'll just ignore the non-Madcap one.

If you wanted to Go back to v3.1 you would have to do a find and Repalce search for madcap | and repalce it with nothing, this could let you go back to v3.1

Hi Richard,

Thanks for the suggestion, but I have no plans to go back to V3.1 at present. I like the extra functionality within V4, so will only go back to V3.1 if there is no alternative.

Thanks

Adrian
