Hi,
Maybe stupid, but does any one know how to create a flare import file (.flimpfl) to be used for global import files.

Re: Flare Import File
Uhhhmmmm... what's a global import file? You can import Word docs or Frame docs. Not sure what you mean by global in this context.
Until next time....

Re: Flare Import File
Hi Kevin,
It is in the new Flare4 release.
Maybe you can read the help topic:
Global Project Linking—Importing Files from Other Projects
Within this topic you find the paragraph:
'Add a Flare import file (Project>Import File>Add Flare Project Import File).
For more details on completing this step, see Adding Project Import Files.'
Then in 'About Templates' you will find: 'Flare project import files See Creating Templates for Flare Import Files.'
There you find:
'How to create a template for a Flare import file
In Flare, create the Flare import file.
See Adding Project Import Files and Global Project Linking—Importing Files from Other Projects.
Save the file.'
There's my point. It's like vicious circle. I am lost there. Maybe I should ask support for help.
What I want to do (and that's written in Flare's Help system) is create a source project which I want to use as a base for several projects that use common topics and other stuff.
