Setting the style for DropDown hotspots

Post by Mark Jacober »

Hi,

I'm trying to change the font style of the dropdown hotspot. I would have thought that it was the MadCap.css in the \skinsupport folder for the target, but that doesnt' seem to work. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Mark

No, set it in your main stylesheet. The madcap.css is only used for cases where you have an element in the topic that has not been explicitly defined in your main stylesheet (in other words, your main stylesheet over-rides madcap.css if both of them have the same style included).

The styles you should look at in the main stylesheet are dropDownHead and/or dropDownHotspot. If you haven't defined them before, they won't be there in a text editor, but you can find them in Flare's stylesheet editor (you may have to switch from Simplified to Advanced view to get to them).
Until next time....
