I am in the process of setting up a stylesheet to generate my help to PDF format. One of the issues I have is with glossary terms within my help file. Although I select the option to "Remove the body" for both Expanding Text Effects and Text Popup Effects within my target editor, the glossary terms still output as footnotes.
These glossary terms are contained within tables that list all the fields in various reports. The popup glossary terms are used to define each field.
I experimented with creating two terms--one tagged as print only and the other tagged as output only. This works, but it is cumbersome and time consuming.
Does anyone know why these glossary terms are not being controlled by the "Remove the body" option in the target editor? Any other suggestions on how I can work around this issue?

Re: Glossry Terms in PDF Output
I had the same problem. This is not supported in PDFs. I had to remove the glossary links in all of my content. Now I am also producing Web help from the same content, but I can't include glossary links.
I wish I could be more helpful. I logged this as an ehancement request with Support.

Did you select "Do not convert terms" on the Glossary tab of the target editor?
