yes, I prefer the Dreamweaver editor. However, when I open a Flare .htm in Dreamweaver, the content is only visible via the Code view, not the Design view. why? And, more importantly, how can I change this (so I can see the content in Design view)?

Thanks.

It's because of this line in the code at the top of the page:

Code: Select all

<html xmlns:MadCap="http://www.madcapsoftware.com/Schemas/MadCap.xsd">
If you take it out, you see the design. Sort of. If you only have one stylesheet in your project then that stylesheet reference isn't added to the topic until build time, so even though you can see the text and images in Dreamweaver, you won't get the full effect because it's not calling the stylesheet. And you won't have access to the advanced features in Flare, like togglers, inserting index keywords, applying conditions, and so on.
