Search in HTML output

I have 2 questions about HTML output:
1. I want an efficient way to deliver my output on CD. Is HTML output the easiest/most efficient way? Can you suggest a better output?
2. The HTML output has a Search tag. If I search on a word (one that I have in the Index, the Content, the Glossary, or a general word, I get 'No Topics Found'. What do I need to do to achieve a result?

This new user of Flare would be grateful for suggestions.
