how to create callouts inside images

Post by KDSTechwriter »

Hi,
I am new to Flare and using 4.1 version.
I inserted an image and would like to highlight certain parts of it by creating callouts which I would insert on top of my image for example.
I would then like to insert some text in it and place some arrows pointing to hotspots on the image.
I found no help topic on this subject. Has anybody an idea how to do that?
Thanks

Flare doesn't have a tool to add callouts - you can use Madcap's Capture application to do that, though.
Until next time....

I am very disappointed, if my memory is correct, Robohelp is doing that...doesn't it? :(
So, can you insert a movie (made with SnagIT for example) which would do the demonstration for you inside the same topic?

Yes, you can - use the "Insert Picture" command and point it at your movie file. (Don't ask why movies are added using "Insert Picture" - it's just one of those things....)
Until next time....

Well, a movie is a series of pictures/images.
