Re: Image Border
Hi Chris,
Assuming your images are using the 'img' style, in the stylesheet ensure that you are using the 'Advanced' view (i.e. the stylesheet should be displaying Simplified View'), and selet 'img' from the styles list.
Once selected, the right hand pane shows the properties and one of the options is Border. THis is where you can set the border properties.
As always, make a copy of the project first in case things don't work quite as expected.
Regards
Adrian

Re: Image Border
Well, a copy of the project is probably overkill - making a backup of the stylesheet should be sufficient for this operation.
Until next time....

Re: Image Border
Having been bitten way too many times, make a copy of the project and a separate copy of the stylesheet...or even better two of each into really separate places. Sure, copying only the stylesheet will be sufficient for this task, but I can only recommend getting into a routine of frequently making backups.

Poor-man's source control system, right? (I've done that sort of thing before too....)RamonS wrote:Having been bitten way too many times, make a copy of the project and a separate copy of the stylesheet...or even better two of each into really separate places. Yea, since one has to spend money on any source control system to get it work with Flare, either for the system itself or the plug-in.

Re: Image Border
Chris,
I would recommend to make a image class containing the border, instead of modifying the entire img style. That way you can apply the border class to all existing images (with a simple find/replace in the source code of your project) and keep the possibility to add other image style classes afterwards.
The easiest way to do this is by right-clicking the img block (toggle "Show Blocks" if necessary), choose Style Class - Create Style Class
Give the new style class a descriptive name (something like "withBorder") and click OK. You will be taken to the Style Sheet Editor where you can change the properties of the new style class.
Afterwards, do a search for all appearances of "<img " and replace them by "<img class="withBorder" ".
Make sure you check the "Find in source code" checkbox, and choose "Whole project" from the "Find in" drop-down.
Of course, this will only work if you have never applied style classes to images before!
Hope this works for you,
Siska
