Paragraph styles within FM table cells getting lost?

Post by pdxwordsmith »

Frame 7, Flare 4.1, WebHelp output

I just noticed that my paragraph styles within a table cell don't seem to be getting picked up in the conversion to Flare. For example, I have a Note style defined in Frame for notes within a table cell. The style doesn't even show up in the Import Editor. Same with bullet styles applied inside a table cell.

Anyone else experienced this?

Thanks.
Hanna

Flare 6.1.0, WebHelp, PDF, and Word targets, sometimes import from FM 8.0p277 and 9.0p196

Yup. Looking for a solution. Have you come across one?
This seems to occur if the style is used only in the table, such as a "cellHead" or "cellBody" style.

You have 2 options:
1) use the table paragraph outside the table, import, map the table styles to CSS styles, then go back and remove the paragraph.
2) open the import file in a text editor, and manually add in the mapping. THe section to edit is <ParagraphStyles>, and you'll need to add lines like
<Map From="CellBody" To="p.CellBody" />

Thanks!
We're much more inclined towards "hacking" the import file than adding and removing. :twisted:
Especially since we're talking an import of around 25 manuals and there is no telling what might be where.
