Upgrading to 4.1 from 4.0 questions

I have read a few of the threads and I have some questions. I am currently running 4.0.16. I downloaded the 4.1 update the other day. Upon launching the executable, the Repair or Remove options became available. Is this normal? A colleague stated it was a separate installation for him. What is the correct procedure? Upon upgrading, is there any loss of CSS or customized skins? When upgrading from version 3, I have to rebuild each of the projects in the new version to make the TOC linked subprojects appear and work properly, will I have to do that as well with the new 4.1 version?

If you're going from v3 to v4, then you get the full install, but beginning with v4.x, they changed it so that incremental upgrades (4.0 to 4.1) only install the changed components instead of the whole thing, so it's a smaller download. Select the Repair option and it should be fine.

So installing the 4.1 download over the current 4.0 is done via 'repair'? And none of the settings, skins, etc are replaced or defaulted back?
