Is there a way to search a Mimic project (or even individual movies) for a word or phrase? Even better, to accomplish a find and replace?
I know that variables can be used, but those require you to be prescient and know what people will want to see changed ahead of time. I need to be able to search for instances of words or phrases.
Find and replace?

Bump.
I would also like a response to this question.
If it doesn't exist, I will happily submit a feature request.

Re: Find and replace?
I am not aware of any way in Mimic to do a word search.
You can open the Mimic .mimov file with a text editor and use the editor's search facility to find words or phrases.
Make sure you add a feature request https://www.madcapsoftware.com/bugs/submit.aspx

Feature request submitted, even if it is too late for me to avoid a lot of manual text editing.
