Hi,
Although I can't see a pattern, some topics open such that the user must scroll up to view the breadcrumbs. Most are fine. Any ideas on how to insure the help window opens at the top?
Thanks,
Mark

Re: On some topics, window opens below breadcrumbs
Does the difference seem to be related to the topic or to how you open it? For example, I know that if you open a topic by selecting it from the Index pane after looking up a keyword, it normally opens where the keyword is (which is frequently not at the top).
Until next time....

Re: On some topics, window opens below breadcrumbs
Kevin,
The problem really seems random. In some cases, the topic that opens below the breadcrumbs is a book; in others, it's not.
Interestingly, paging through the entire TOCs of my test project just now, I noticed that at least one page does not open anywhere near the top of page. For comparison, I just re-built the project without the breadcrumbs and that page still does not open to the top of page. Could be that it's a more general problem that I just discovered while checking out the breadcrumbs. So I guess my question becomes 'how do I force the help window to open to the top of page'?
Thanks,
Mark

Re: On some topics, window opens below breadcrumbs
Nope, wrong again. Now I see what's going on. If the entire content PLUS the breadcrumbs fits in the help window, the window opens at 0,0. If not, it opens scrolled to the heading in the TOC. So the question still is, how do I force the window to open at the top?
Thanks,
Mark

To be honest, I'm not sure: when I access topics through the TOC they always open at the top, so I'm not sure how to get it to misbehave the way you are seeing.

Just guessing...does the ToC entry point to a bookmark? If not, does the topic open as expected when you move the heading to the top of the topic (just for testing and figuring out the cause, not meant as a solution)?
