Index Results pane always appearing

Hello all,
I am just trying to get to grips with DotNet Help.
I have the Index Results pane always appearing at the bottom of the main window, I have tried everything I can think of to open the help with this pane closed, but cannot find a method to do this.
Is there a way, or am I just still suffering from the Post-Christmas blues?

I hope there is a way to turn that off, but I haven't found it yet. I'm new at .Net help, though

It's really annoying, and I can't seem to turn it off, or further customize the help viewer, either. Please log a bug! I will, too.

Time to make the call to give up on DotNet Help, methinks...
