AccordionTitle

Hi everyone,

how do I access the style of the AccordionTitle? I know where it is in Skins (but there I can only access font and color).
I want to get it left-aligned and other stuff... ? If I write it in my own css file it doesn't seem to work.

Unfortunately, that may be an after-build modification. If you build WebHelp output, look in the Output folder, then look in the Skin folder, you'll see a Navigation.htm page. If you open that in Notepad, you'll see a whole bunch of AccordionItem related styles. You could try putting some of those styles in your main topic stylesheet, but if it still doesn't work, then you'll have to modify the styles in this file every time you build the output. I do something similar for a couple of other skin-related properties I want to change, so I keep a copy of the modified file outside the project, then when I do a build, I just copy my version over the one just created.

In the meantime, submit a feature request at http://www.madcapsoftware.com/bugs/submit.aspx asking for more formatting control of the accordion buttons.

Take a look at the MadCap Knowledge Base. There images are on top of the accordion tabs covering the original pieces. This way you can put anything on there the way you want. It is one way, but not the best way since one sees the underlying tabs when resizing the left pane as the images do not resize on the fly. But, you could style the tabs the same way as the image and then it might not show as much.
