Padding on paragraphs screws up my

numbering

Post by beagley »

If I set top and/or bottom padding for paragraphs (padding-bottom, padding-top), then my paragraphs are spaced nicely. They are too close together by default, IMHO.

My ordered lists sometimes contain paragraphs, however. (Two or three
inside an
), and the additional padding means that the NUMBERS for the ordered list do not match up with the paragraphs. I can't figure out where to add the padding so that the numbers generated for each
will line up with my paragraphs with added padding.

Any suggestions?

Maybe I should use some other spacing technique for altering the spacing between my paragraphs?

I'd try using margin-top and margin-bottom and see if the work better.
Until next time....
