pictures with captions?

Hi,

what's the easiest was to insert an image and give it a caption/legend?

There's no easy built-in method for creating image captions. I usually create a paragraph style (call it p.Caption or something like that), and set that style to be smaller type, etc. If you want numbered captions, you have to set an autonumber for the style.

I have been messing with captions myself. The way I found that works, is to make a p.caption class. Then I put a div tag around the image and caption. This keeps them both together when left or right centering. If you search in the forums here for captions, you may get past conversations regarding how to center justify and such.
