Hi,
I'm facing the problem that images come blurry into my PDF documents. The document I'm creating is made for PDF and HTML help. In the HTML help file the pictures look but not in the PDF.
What can I do to improve the quality in the PDF document?
Thanks in advance.
Best regards
PS: I'm using Flare v4.2

Re: Blurry images
Hi Andre,
Welcome to the forums.
My first reaction is to ask what format your images are in, what are the image resolutions, and are the images resized in any way?
If the images are fine on screen, including when you view the pdf at 100%, you probably have an image resolution problem. If the images are resized (and that includes viewing a 'zoomed' on screen document) you will find a 100% sized image is the clearest and will need to experiment with resizing to get a crisper resized image. I find percentages such as 60, 70 and 80% work better than, say, 73%. Its all to do with the resizing algorithym.

Re: Blurry images
Hi Steve,
I tried different formats like PNG, JPG and TIF and also different resolutions.
But I found an interessting thread here.
Control over PDF image compression?
I guess it is the same problem which I have.
