Appearance Setting in Profile is not Being Applied
Appearance Setting in Profile is not Being Applied
Created a profile and added a border on the Appearance tab. When I view the profile the settings are as specified however when an image is captured a border is not added. I need to go into the images properties and manually add the border. Did I miss something?

Are you making the capture with your new profile selected?
You can select it from the combo box on the toolbar if it isn't.

Yes, the profile is selected when I create the capture. All other specified items in the profile are working. Only the border function is choking.

It sounds as if you have checked things through.
The last thing I'd check is the border properties did save when you saved the profile. If they have, lodge a bug report. If you have a maintenance contract you may want to contact Madcap support direct.

Oh how embarrassing....
Submitted a trouble ticket and as usual received an incredibly fast response from MadCap.
When answering their question I realized where I had put a foot wrong. When using Capture through Flare I had selected Format:JPEG and failed to select the named profile. When the proper item was selected all worked as advertised.
Hopefully the red mark from slapping myself on the forehead with an open palm while exclaiming DOH! will fade quickly.
