When I started using Flare with 3.1, I needed to create styles called p.Numbered1 and p.Numbered to make sure that numbered lists worked properly in FrameMaker output. It used to be that the numbers did not start as 1 when they needed to, so I had to create styles to force the numbering. I remember there were others on in this forum who also found that to be the best solution. Now that I'm using 4.2, I'm wondering if this is still necessary? I did a quick test to see if using the built-in numbered lists started at 1 when they need to, and it looks like they do.
Is it safe to switch to the built-in list, or is it best to keep doing what we have been with our own lists classes?

Re: Using built-in numbered list vs. created class
I have never had a problem with the lists... there seem to be lots of features for starting things when and how I need to start them.
I do use a custom created class for procedures, because I want the "Step 1: Title", with enclosed paragraphs and a bunch of other stuff. But I use normal lists everywhere else.
