TOC: Polish characters/wrong encoding

Hello,

I am currently working on a polish translation. When I try to compile my project, the TOC in HTML Help seems to ignore/is unable to show the correct polish characters.
Please see the attached screenshot for my problem.

I already tried to use "ł" instead of "Å‚" and also to compile the project on another system where polish is the standard language - both attempts didn't work.

For the references to the index (.hhk) file, you can substitute the contents (.hhc) file.

Thank you for your reply, unfortunately none of the solutions works for me...

It may sound funny, but finally it worked.
I don't know exactly why, the only thing I did was recompiling the project for Word output (to see if the characters are shown correctly) and when I changed back to HTML Help output everything went fine...
Another thing I did was to enable the option that all files in their newest version should be included automatically....
