Is mirroring in page layouts is restricted to margins only? If so, why does it seem to also mirror the header frame, but display that same header in the F2 edit window as un-mirrored?
I want to alternate my logo in the header frame. When I mirror the left page to a right page, the logo shifts to the right side, but it is not right-justified, so it lands sort of in between the center and the right margin. Unacceptable.
And when I F2 Edit that right-page frame and try to change the alignment, the logo still appears on the left. It can't be done without making a new p style.
I suspect that the only way I can get the logo to truly alternate is to put a one-row table in the header frame. Any thoughts?

Re: Mirroring page layouts
There is something odd going on with the mirroring. It doesn't work quite right, at least not in my experience. I end up having to create the pages and manually positioning the elements, along with using multiple paragraph styles that control text alignment to the left or right, depending on the page (e.g., p.headerRight, p.headerLeft, p.footerRight, and p.footerLeft).

Re: Mirroring page layouts
I solved the header/footer mirroring issue by using tables. Works for PDF output.
