Index Search

Hi,

I have a small Index in my web help and I don't want to use the search field within the Index box. What's the best way to remove the search in the index area (not the search box in the search area) ?

The only way you could do it would be to manually edit the relevant JavaScript file. Unfortunately, you'd have to do it after every build. You could make a copy of the JS file somewhere outside the project (or at least outside the Content folder in the project) and just copy your version over the generated version every time you build the output. You'd have to do some testing, though, to make sure removing that box doesn't screw something else up and make the index not work entirely.
