Any ideas?

Post by alaltenburg »

I have a list of drop downs and am wondering if anyone could help me figure out what the extra little boxes are in the example?

Could you post the topic code for everything between the start of Modules and the end of Calculator? That should give us an idea what's different about Database.
Until next time....

I think I see your problem.

For Modules, you have this:

Code: Select all

<MadCap:dropDownHotspot>Modules</MadCap:dropDownHotspot>
For Database, you have this:

Code: Select all

<MadCap:dropDownHotspot>
                    <MadCap:keyword term="Database" />Database<img src="../../Resources/Images/ANDREA CHAPTER 1/06000002.png" style="width: 1px;height: 1px;" /></MadCap:dropDownHotspot>
So it looks like the problem is somehow you have an image inserted at the end of the line.
Until next time....

It's odd that the boxes never showed up until version 5, but I deleted the extra images - and it seems to show correctly now.

Thanks Kevin,
Andrea

I think you missed my point: in Modules, the image appears on its own line in the dropdown body, whereas in Database one appears in the dropdown hotspot line as well as in the dropdown body line. Take the one out of the hotspot line and you should be good.

EDIT: Looks like you did that while I was typing the instructions :P
Until next time....

Yes, that's what I did. I have no idea what the extra images were, but they are gone now and it looks the way it should :)
