Hi there,
Is there any way to globally set the user permissions for the webhelp output file and all subfolders and files?
At present it seems to allow read (and write) permissions for myself, but no access for all other users.
It is very time consuming to edit each file's user permissions.
Any help is appreciated.
Many thanks

Re: changing webhelp user permissions
Access to files and folders is normally handled by the system or network permissions settings: it isn't normally part of the authoring tool or output setup. (So basically if you want others to have access to the source files or the output, you need to place them in a system or network location that their account is allowed to access.)
Until next time....

Using IIS from Microsoft and windows Domain permissions you can limit what files someone will see
