Wrap text in online TOC?
Is there any way to wrap text in the online (WebHelp) TOC, rather than having it stretch so far past the navigation pane limits that it creates a bottom scroll bar?

That would be wonderful. Good wishlist request!

You might be able to do this by setting the white-space property (under the block property group) on the correct element. I'd have to play with it, but I'd guess that one of the divs or other elements is set to nowrap.

Go here: C:\Program Files\MadCap Software\MadCap Flare V5\Flare.app\Resources\WebHelp\Default.flwht
Open the Toc.html file in your favorite text editor
Edit the following:
<div id="CatapultToc" style="white-space: nowrap;">
Change the bold word into any of the white-space properties, for word wrapping, normal, should work.

Flare: I bought it ... so that means I can break it, right?

Note that if you change it in this location then that change will filter down to all projects. (DurtyMat probably knows that, but I'm pointing it out for anyone who isn't aware of the implications of changing the program file.)DurtyMat wrote:Go here: C:\Program Files\MadCap Software\MadCap Flare V5\Flare.app\Resources\WebHelp\Default.flwht
If you only want it to wrap in one particular project but no others, then you'll have to modify the same file in the generated output folder for that project. Unfortunately, you'd have to make that modification every time you build the output, because the file is automatically overwritten with the default value.
