Hi all,
I'm wondering if there is a way to replace the MadCap propeller icon in the upper right corner of WebHelp with our company logo, and perhaps change what it does. Is that even possible? If so what's involved?

That's done in the Skin. I haven't done it myself, but there have been a number of threads recently about replacing graphics in the Skin.
Until next time....

Open the Skin, go to the Styles tab, expand the ToolbarItem group, then click on Logo. You can change the image there, as well as add an onClick event, change the alternate text, etc.

OK this works for changing the graphic. For the click event it says it's asking for java script. Ack! I don't know javascript. All I want it to do is open one of our topic pages when they click the graphic. Is there an easy way to do something like that?

You may want to google for code for the onClick event. Keep in mind that client side scripting can be disabled, so don't expect it to work at all times.

Hi,
Another option would be to set the logo to 'Not Set', then to add an image to the Masterpage. This then allows an image map to be created for the image which can then be set to link to the topic you require.
At least that's how I achieved it

That is a workaround, but just be aware that this puts the logo in the topic area of the output, not in the toolbar area.Adrian Durand wrote:Another option would be to set the logo to 'Not Set', then to add an image to the Masterpage.
