The last major hardware upgrade cycle where I work (about 2 years ago) got rid of both Windows 2000 and IE6 for everyone I knew who used either of them. Our flagship application doesn't even support Windows 2000 anymore (as of this month).

Our clients access the application via a web browser, and a lot of the companies are SME's so we cannot force upgrades on them.
As a result, we have clients running most flavours of windows (from WIn2000 upwards), but we do stipulate IE6 as a minimum requirement.

I don't know anyone using Windows 2000 and Flare, although I know of plenty people who still use Windows 2000 (since it does what it should and upgrading is too expensive). I also know many who still use IE6, because many web developers decided to craft IE/IE6-only web pages that won't work with any other browser.

I'm currently using IE6 at work. Many of our customer systems are still using IE6.

We have recently (Jan 2009) stopped supporting Win2000, but we still have end-users with Citrix and Terminal Services which (in some cases) are still using IE6. As of next January, however, IE7 will be our minimum requirement.

For our purposes its irrelevant: our application is hosted on a Windows server (to date we have used 2K3 x64) and users access it through terminal services, and our help is delivered in the TS session by way of a CHM file (we don't permit the user to run a browser inside the TS session for security reasons).

Our software works under Windows 2000 but we don't officially support it (and a first response would be to upgrade to XP or above).
Like others, we have some clients using Citrix apps and I think there are very few clients using Windows 2000 with the majority are at least on XP.

Our deliverables (WebHelp) must be fully functional back to IE 6 and so we keep our browsers at that version also. We use later versions for non-production work but for the Flare environment, we're usually on an old version of IE.
