Hi
Has anyone developed a simple web front-end which allows non-documentation users (e.g. Training dept, or even external customers and partners) to select the topics they want, and even the output type they want - PDF or Word, and receive the compiled file at the end? Something like what they do in Floss Manuals Remix: http://en.flossmanuals.net/remix
No edit access required, in fact the users don't even need to be aware the files come from Flare. All they see is a list of topics and possibly other predefined components (e.g. cover page of their choice).
Don't want to reinvent the wheel if someone else has done this!
Thanks in advance.

Re: Web front-end for Flare
The difficulty here is being able to freely select the topics one wants. While the compile is the least concern and providing the selection mechanism that is based on the project XML files telling the Flare compiler what to compile is not that easy. The script would need to build the necessary project files on the fly.

Re: Web front-end for Flare
who knows may be in a future Web 3.- collaborative edition of Flare, am sure the compiler could be coaxed via scripts.
If you submit your bug feedback request here, the more likely it'll get fixed or included in a future release
