I have four Flare projects with extensive linking between each in the Webhelp output. I'm now trying to generate PDFs of each for users who want printable versions. However, I would like to "disable" the hyperlinks that are external (outside of the current document) for the PDF version and retain only the internal links. In other words, if I have a link from doc A to doc B in the Webhelp output, for the PDF version, I would like to turn off that link and just show the text with the normal (non-link) attributes.
How can I do this? (FYI - I am using the latest release of Flare v5.0.0.)
Thanks.

Re: How to disable external links in PDF output
One way would be to create a condition tag for each topic (don't know how many you have, so I'm not sure if this is feasible), and set them all to exclude in your targets. When you build that topic's PDF, set that one topic to include. Any external links' text will still show up, but it will not be linked.
Hope that helps.

Re: How to disable external links in PDF output
Thanks for the response.
That would be a good idea if there were just a few topics. However, the manuals are very large, so this method would be hard to implement.
I know that Flare can track the external links during a build. Therefore, I think they could easily add an option to "Disable External Links" for a selected target (like PDF). I think I will submit this as a feature request.
