<html xmlns:MadCap="http://www.madcapsoftware.com/Schemas/MadCap.xsd" MadCap:disableMasterStylesheet="true" MadCap:
The above line is displayed in my view source option in my Chrome browser. It does not show up in Firefox or IE using the similar function.
What I am experiencing is displayed PUBLISHED content looking different that local built or preview displays.
The Note class is displaying different on the published version. What I am thinking is, is that the server is holding onto older stylesheet? I am using a webdeploy utility (Marimba) to publish my content.
Questions for possible etiology and solutions?
Is it a matter of unchecking the remove stale files and publish only changed files? Even though I have changed the stylesheets they are not being reflected on the published site. View output and preview work fine. Not sure what to do.
I also would like to remove linked stylesheets and just have one and one only. I have inherited a project that has 3 stylesheets with several duplicates of the styles and classes. Is there an easy way to clean this all up?
Thank you.

Re: master stylesheet disable setting = true
I have been having the same problem, basically (Flare v4.2.1). I have wiped the local output folder before building the target, and I have wiped the server folder where the output gets published before publishing again - nothing I've tried yet has resolved this problem. Hope we both get a suggestion for this!

Re: master stylesheet disable setting = true
I am trying to deduce what is going on with me. I have one more test to try. I did find out, for some reason, the local output folder was keeping older versions and not removing the older items. I deleted the output folder and it is not filled with the appropriate files. I am awaiting our VPN tunnel to be fixed to determine whether or not our staging server is pushing the final changes properly.
I have ensured all linked CSS's are okay as well and that each of the styles is set and saved properly.
What have you tried? I am also on the same version as you.

Re: master stylesheet disable setting = true
I just fixed the problem, I think. The files generated for the output contain the following stylesheet links:
<link href="SkinSupport/MadCap.css" rel="stylesheet" />
<link href="Resources/stylesheets/default.css" rel="stylesheet" />
Since all of the MadCap styles were displaying correctly in FF and IE7, I looked closely at the links to the stylesheet and the folders on our web server. I discovered that the output folder "resources" is generated for the stylesheets, but the link in the page contains an upper case R, so the reference to a stylesheet located in the "Resources" folder can't be found. I renamed the "resources" folder to "Resources", and the content displays as I intended it to. don't know if this is a bug or something I buggered up in my Project or Target settings, though.
Any of the experts out there know how to correct the stylesheet link that's generated in the output files?

Re: master stylesheet disable setting = true
I fixed mine. Mine was an IT issue. They moved the production servers without telling me, and making the apporpriate adjustment to push to the production server. I spent a day and a half trying different things. Good grief. I will keep an eye on this thread as well or your resolve.
