I'm inserting toolbar topic proxies in my topics as needed to help expand all or close all topics that are drop-downs. The icons I get when I select expand all or close all are not what I would expect. They look like this:
I checked everywhere I could think of, and the Skin Editor is using files called chart_organization_add.png and chat_organization.png, which I cannot even locate in a search of C:\Program Files\MadCap Software\MadCap Flare V5.
I was expecting the icons to look like the one used in the example of topic toolbar proxies in Flare Help, and are located in C:\Program Files\MadCap Software\MadCap Flare V5\Flare.app\Resources\Images\WebHelp\ExpandAllEffects.gif and CollapseAllEffects.gif. Even better, I'd like to use the icons in C:\Program Files\MadCap Software\MadCap Flare V5\Flare.app\Resources\WebHelp\Default.flwht\Images because Expand/Collapse gifs in this directory also include gifs for when you roll over the icons.
How do I tell Flare to use these? Even though I am not inserting these in the Skin, it seems like the skin is somehow controlling what is used. How do I edit it? I can't browse to a directory I want, and can't figure out the directory the current (wrong) icons are coming from.
The image below is what I expected the icons Expand/Collapse icons to look like.

How do I change toolbar topic proxy icon?
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Hi,
I do not have a direct answer to your trouble, but do you know 'IE Developer Toolbar' ? It is a free Microsoft software that provides information on elements displayed in html pages. In other word, once installed and launched, if you activate the function 'Select Element by Click' (the first one on the left in the toolbar), by clicking on an element of your WebHelp (in IE), you display its name, url or src adress and so on. It might worth a try to identify the used icons.

Those icons are embedded inside the skin file (flskn), which is why you can't find them in any folders on your PC.
I'm not sure why you have those icons (did you get/download the skin from somewhere?), but to change it to the default Flare ones, set the three icons to (Default).

Thanks Dave!
I didn't see (default) in the drop-down list for the basic Toolbar Item properties (and wouldn't have been sure what it would do, anyway). I also see now that the drop-down includes [Browse for Image...], in case I want to add my own icon. I was expecting an ellipsis next to the field, so didn't realize browsing was possible.
