Error inserting Screen Capture

Is anyone else getting errors inserting screen captures in X-edit?
I am adding screen captures to .mcco files. I can almost always add the first one without error (btw, I do own Capture and I have a profile setup with the settings I want for all of these captures.). After that, when I try to insert a screen capture I get the following error:
MadCap X-Edit v 1.2
Failed to run command 'Screen Capture...'
Exception:
Cannot modify a read only container.
If I click ok on the message, I can get another image inserted if I do the following:
1. Insert > Screen Capture > Tiff (or any other options besides my profile) > Capture Application or any other option on the right (errors again)
2. Insert > Screen Capture > Tiff (or any other options besides my profile) > Capture Application or any other option on the right but needs to be different than the one chosen previously (errors again)
3. Insert > Screen Capture > Tiff (or any other options besides my profile) > Capture Application or any other option on the right. Then it works! I delete that print screen and I can capture again using my profile.
The next time I want to add using my profile, I can get the error again and have to go through steps 1-3. What a pain - I have to do the process 5 times to get an actual screen capture inserted. argh.
I've tried reinstalling capture and X-edit.
I've tried creating a new profile in Capture and using that in X-edit. Same problem.
Any other ideas?
