Maybe I'm thinking about this wrong, or overlooking the obvious (in which case, feel free to embarrass me publicly) but...
Would anybody else find it really, really useful if you could search your Flare project, using "Find in Files" and have some additional search filtering like:
- find all topics containing the search string, where those topics are tagged with <select one or many condition tags>
- find all topics containing the search string, where those topics are NOT tagged with <select one or many condition tags>
That would come in very handy when I want to remove or replace certain terms or phrasing in topics for one product, but not another, or where I want find occurrences of terms that I have forgotten to exclude/remove/change in a condition subset of topics, and so on.
The conditions are already associated with the topics, so it shouldn't be a big deal to include a condition selector to include in or exclude from your search.
It would certainly make search result lists blessedly smaller in many cases.
But, as I say, there's probably an existing way of accomplishing the same result, that I'm just not thinking of.

Re: Searching in a project
AFAIK you should be able to do this using regular expressions (don't ask me how; every time I look at regular expression code some part of by brain pops out and gibbers...).
You can enable regular expressions or wildcards in the search panel.

Until next time....

What... are you nuts?
I can't even figure out how to get the in-Flare Help Search to return results (on a simple search like... "search") without a boatload of useless clutter about a product I don't even have - MadCap Feedback.
Ok, seriously, I'll dust off my old regex notes and see if I can figure out how to include and exclude by Condition... or NOT Condition, as the case may be.
Still, instead of everybody having to figure that out for themselves, you'd think a programmer would figure it out once and then it would be a checkbox or a drop-down menu item thereafter, in "Find in Files".
